The final price depends on the filled weight of the barrel, your destination state in Nigeria, and whether you want door delivery included. What you can put in a barrel. A barrel is ideal for a mix of non-perishable, everyday items: clothing and shoes, dried and tinned food, provisions, seasonings and spices, toiletries and soap, baby and children’s items, bedding and towels, school supplies, and small household goods. What to keep out. Fresh or frozen food, anything perishable, and prohibited items must stay out — and large commercial quantities of any single product can change how customs treat the whole barrel. If you are sending goods for resale rather than for family use, that is a commercial shipment with different paperwork (see Form M and NAFDAC).
